Tecserv UK is a BAFE approved fire and security specialist with a 20 year history of installing and maintaining fire and security systems that protect people, processes and systems. Our attention to detail is one of the reasons why we are the fire prevention and security specialist trusted to protect many of Britain’s most prestigious and famous buildings, including St Paul’s Cathedral, the Ritz Hotel and Stowe School.

To continue to provide this level of service we are currently hiring for a full-time National Service Manager.

Are you an experienced leader in the fire and security industry with a passion for delivering exceptional service?  We’re looking for a National Service Manager to join our growing team and take responsibility for driving performance, customer satisfaction, and compliance across our service operations nationally.

About the Role

As National Service Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind our fire and security service department.  You’ll oversee a team of regional service supervisors, engineers and coordinators, ensuring maintenance and reactive works are delivered on time, to standard, and with excellent customer service.  This is a key role in maintaining compliance, building strong client relationships, and leading the team to deliver outstanding results.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Reporting to the COO.
  • Leading and motivating the fire and security service team.
  • Managing planned maintenance and reactive service works across fire alarms, intruder systems, CCTV, and access control.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards (SSAIB, BAFE, BS 5839, etc.) and health & safety legislation.
  • Work closely with all other departments in the business.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships to secure long-term partnerships.
  • Driving efficiency and profitability through effective planning and resource management.
  • Reporting on performance, KPIs, and budgets to senior management.
  • Supporting training and professional development for engineers and staff.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in fire and security service management.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to develop and inspire a team.
  • Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and contracts.
  • Great communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • IT literacy and familiarity with service management software.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Desirable but not essential:

  • FIA training or other fire/security qualifications.
  • IOSH/NEBOSH Health & Safety certification.
