Tecserv Achieves Cyber Essentials Accreditation

We’re thrilled to announce that Tecserv UK has achieved the Cyber Essentials Accreditation.

Cyber Essentials is a government-backed certification spanning the entirety of the UK, designed to bolster companies’ defences against prevalent cyber threats, ultimately reducing risk by a minimum of 80%. This accreditation enables businesses to showcase their dedication to cybersecurity to potential clients.

What are the advantages of Cyber Essentials accreditation?

Securing against around 80% of cyber assaults

With our newly acquired accreditation, Tecserv UK is now shielded against common cyber-attacks. A majority of cyber assaults exploit fundamental weaknesses within businesses, such as outdated software or improperly configured firewalls. Often, these types of attacks are easily thwarted with simple strategies, and Cyber Essentials equips us with precisely that. While no security measure can guarantee a complete halt to attacks, Cyber Essentials empowers us to mitigate the risks of the most probable ones by laying a robust foundation for defence.

Ensuring compliance with GDPR

Acquiring Cyber Essentials accreditation ensures we meet contractual and regulatory obligations related to cyber security, especially when handling sensitive data.

Facilitating participation in government contracts

The UK government mandates that suppliers comply with the Cyber Essentials scheme to qualify for government contracts. For contracts involving technical services or the handling of sensitive information, Cyber Essentials compliance is a necessity.

Demonstrate our commitment to cybersecurity to customers and vendors

Customers and vendors are often hesitant to engage with businesses that demonstrate little or no regard for cybersecurity. Attaining Cyber Essentials certification enables us to instil confidence in our clients and partners. Now that we are certified, we can proudly display the Cyber Essentials badge on our website. This badge serves as tangible proof to customers, vendors, and investors of our dedication to safeguarding systems and upholding data integrity.
