Quite rightly, many of us are really looking forward to completely switching off for the holidays in order to re-charge ready for 2026.
However, thieves and fire risks don’t tend to care that we are busy relaxing with family. In fact, evidence suggests quite the opposite.
So our Christmas message this year also comes with a reminder that the assessment of fire and security risks is a year-round activity and just because you are on holiday and your business premises are closed it does not mean these risks reduce, particularly as winter means less daylight and more darkness!
Please be extra vigilant and ensure your fire alarm, CCTV and intruder alarm systems are working effectively and protecting your people, processes and property.
