Tecserv was approached by Middlesex University to provide continual maintenance on their fire alarm systems every 6 months. We had to overcome obstacles such as the need to re-organise structures already in place with regards to the system and arrangement. Also, where necessary the fire safety system had to be updated whilst minimising disruption to learning and teaching as we were servicing a fully functioning university campus.
Tecserv overcame these issues by upgrading the current systems where required, we installed a Baldwin Boxall Disabled Refuge System that is networked across 13 separate buildings and transmits back to a centralised panel in the security section. We also provided assistance and guidance in the re-organisation of the fire alarm system management to ensure it is fully understood by all. We ensured each system we used was made from quality products that we can service to optimum levels.
