The work to refurbish and restore Seven Mile House to its former glory enters its final week as Tecserv UK carry out the installation of office security systems ready for the official opening by the Mayor of Gedling.
The building is going to be the new headquarters for DRS Tax Claims Limited and in order to return the building to its prime, Managing Director David Redfern made a conscious decision to carefully chose the best suppliers and contractors in order to ensure that the renovation was carried out to the highest specifications.
Tecserv UK were appointed to supply and install security systems for Seven Mile House. The project was managed by System Sales Engineers Liam Clifford and Anthony Fragola.
DSR Tax Claims Ltd provide specialist tax preparation services to customers nationwide, therefore onsite security and access were of the utmost importance.
Mr Redfern explained “Due to the confidential nature of our business in terms of handling the financial information of our customers, it is vitally important that Seven Mile House is fully protected by the latest high tech access control, fire protection, CCTV and intruder alarm systems. Our clients trust us to hold their personal data in complete security so we needed the services of security experts in order to ensure that our premises are able to provide both our customers and our employees the highest level of safety and security as possible”.
Commenting Liam Clifford, said, “All the team at DSR Tax Claims were a pleasure to deal with which enabled Tecserv UK to co-ordinate with other contractors on site to ensure our works were completed on time. Seven Mile House now is protected using the latest hi-tech equipment which includes a Paxton biometric fingerprint access control system, a Hikvision high definition CCTV surveillance system and a Castle intruder alarm system.”

Seven Mile House will be officially opened by the Mayor of Gedling at 3pm on Friday 22 November 2019, followed by a drinks reception for guests.
